We've done a number of game cinematics and larger corporate marketing pieces for EA over the years, typically coinciding with the annual E3 conference. This piece for EA Mobile is just that - an overview of the brand that is used within the booth at the conference, looped with a number of other pieces and projected on a huge screen that acts as background amidst a crush of visual and aural stimuli within the Los Angeles Convention Center.
This project was awarded a bit late within the production cycle for E3, so we had to work and render pretty fast. The peg-board environment was a part of the overall graphic package for EA. We animated that with a procedural system built in Softimage, then populated that world with a variety of cell phones and product artwork. From there, it was a matter of flying the camera from product to product.

If you steal it, you'll have to deal with them, and let me tell ya - they've got a lot of lawyers. Not the nice folksy country-style Matlock kind nor the innocent fresh-scrubbed kid-next door kind from the "Ed" show a few years back. No - these lawyers carve pentacles into their chests on the sabbath when they're not busy devouring orphans and wear special wing-tips to hide their cloven hoofs. I'm not kidding. Got it? Good. Now go clean your keyboard - it's filthy, you dirty boy.
